Performance
The Chevy Trax is powered by the same engine regardless of the trim selected. The Chevy Trax comes with a 1.2-liter turbocharged 4-cylidner engine that offers 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the sole drivetrain option.
Interior Features
If comfort and convenience are important areas to you, then the Chevy Trax offers a variety of features to consider. The base LS trim of the Chevy Trax comes with cloth upholstery, air conditioning, and a deceptively roomy cabin. The LS trim offers an optional LS Convenience package that comes with remote start and heated front seats. The 1RS trim offers drivers a heated steering wheel and all the features included with the LS Convenience package. The LT trim offers push-button start and automatic climate control. The LT trim makes an LT Convenience package optional, which offers keyless entry, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
Exterior
The Chevy Trax offers a dynamic yet concise set of exterior features. The base LS trim offers 17-inch steel wheels, LED headlights, and automatic high beams. The LS Convenience package comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, remote start, and heated/ power adjustable mirrors. The 1RS trim offers gloss black exterior trim, 18-inch alloy wheels, and revised front/rear fascias. Stepping to the LT trim offers roof rails, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an optional LT Convenience package. The LT Convenience package allows for keyless entry and heated/power adjustable mirrors. The 2RS comes with 19-inch alloy wheels while the Activ trim offers 18-inch alloy wheels.
Technology
The Chevy Trax manages a modern set of tech features, with the base LS trim offering an 8-inch touchscreen display, smartphone connectivity (Apple CarPlay/Android Auto), a 4-speaker audio system, and in-vehicle W-Fi functionality. For improved tech, the Chevy Trax provides drivers with an 11-inch touchscreen display, a 6-speaker audio system, and push-button start.
Safety
The Chevy Trax manages a modern set of driver assistance features to help boost driving confidence while taking on long commutes and urban cruising. Every single trim level of the Chevy Trax comes with at least the following set of driver assistance features: forward collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and a lane keeping system. For those interested in improving the standard set of driver assistance features, the Chevy Trax offers the Driver Confidence package. This package comes with blind-spot warning with rear cross traffic warning and adaptive cruise control. All trims also come with classic safety features like seat belts and airbags.
